About this site
Does the service cost anything?
Yes and no. There is a free base service but you can upgrade your account at anytime to access the advanced features. Why do you offer this service?
I offer it for people with limited HTML skills or people like myself with limited time. I wanted an easy way to store my bookmarks in a central location for starters and I also wanted to be able to update links on my weblog quickly and easily. I also wanted it to work seamlessly into the experience of "bloghopping". With the 'one click blogroll addition', blogrolling.com makes it very fast and easy to store your links to your friends and publish to your website completely on the fly.I'm an HTML newbie and don't know my <b> from <blink>. Can I still use the service?
If you can copy and paste, you can use it. If you went through the hassle to create a webblog in the first place, I'm confident that you can use blogrolling.com.I want to keep sensitive links to personal information in my blogroll. Is this a good idea?
Absolutely NOT! I make no claims that this is in anyway a secure or business-class service. It's an easy way to manage a list of links. Also all links in the system are viewable by any other user using the search or linked to feature in the top links lists. Can I use the service for non-weblogs?
Yes and no. If you are using blogrolling.com to just store your links for easy access and they aren't being published to a website then yes. If your links are being published online to a website then the displaying the site must be a weblog or journal. Any site not adhering to these simple rules will be banned. What if you decide to close shop?
I'll email all active members if I ever decide to discontinue the service, or it becomes financially unfeasible. There are no plans of this happening, and blogrolling.com is doing just fine. What if your server goes down? Is it going to ruin my page?
Certain layouts that use the JavaScript publishing method may experience a lag if the server becomes inaccessible. If you are worried about this happening, you can use one of the more robust, backend solutions.I have a question or a problem
You can anytime. I will try to get back to you as soon as possible.
